  • Mythic Odysseys of Theros (Races only)
  • Planescape: Adventures in the Multiverse

*Some options from Tasha’s are unavailable. Specifically Customizing Your Origin is not allowed in this game. Standard race traits, or variants, are allowed only

Not Allowed:

  • Van Rictoven’s Guide to Ravenloft –
  • DMG options for players (Death Domain for example)
  • Explorer’s Guide to Wildemount
  • Guildmasters’ Guide to Ravnica and other Planes shift supplements (Races are allowed except in certain games like Rime of the Frostmaiden)

Generating Abilities: 27 point buy, as per the PHB.

Species:

  • Yuan-ti: need approval.

Classes:

  • Artificer – Beginning at level 3, an Artificer can use a scroll regardless of which spell list it is on. If it isn’t on the Artificer spell list, the caster can attempt to use the scroll by making an Intelligence (Arcana) DC – 12 + spell level.  On a failed check, the spell disappears from the scroll with no other effect.
  • Bard – Beginning at level 3, a Bard can use a scroll regardless of which spell list it is on. If it isn’t on the Bard spell list, the caster can attempt to use the scroll by making an Charisma (Arcana) DC – 12 + spell level.  On a failed check, the spell disappears from the scroll with no other effect.
  • Druids – Not prohibited from wearing metal armor.
  • Rangers – are prepared spell casters and can replace their spells on a long rest.
  • Rogues – Use Magic Devices – Use a scroll with a Charisma (Arcana) check. DC = 12 + spell level of the scroll.
    • Beginning at level 3, a Rogue can use a scroll regardless of which spell list it is on. If it isn’t on the Rogue spell list (if an Arcane Trickster), the caster can attempt to use the scroll by making an Charisma (Arcana) DC – 12 + spell level.  On a failed check, the spell disappears from the scroll with no other effect.
  • Warlock – Any spells listed under patron are added to spells known, and are in addition to other spells known.
    • Beginning at level 3, a Warlock can use a scroll regardless of which spell list it is on. If it isn’t on the Warlock spell list, the caster can attempt to use the scroll by making an Charisma (Arcana) DC – 12 + spell level.  On a failed check, the spell disappears from the scroll with no other effect.
  • Beastheart allowed (MCDM)
  • Illrigger allowed (MCDM)

Rules:

  • Aid another: Must be proficient in the skill or tool to assist.
  • Magic Item attunement: 1 per proficiency bonus

Feats:

  • Magic Initiate: Add that you can also cast spells with spell slots if available. Spells are added to Spells known with one free casting per long rest at the lowest level.

Spells:

  • Silvery Barbs is 3rd level, not 1st.
